One lucky lady recently found that her earrings contained one of the rarest pearls in the world. And when it is sold at auction it could go for as much as 250,000! The pearl is 33.14 carats, and was made by a gold-lip oyster. It is the largest of its type to go up for auction and might even surpass the 250,000 estimate.

Looks kinda small, right?

How does it look now?

Pretty crazy to think how much some people are willing to pay for this thing.
